The following procedure shows you how to clean-up your
Microsoft Internet Explorer "cache". This directory can get so big that it can
hinder the performance of the web browser as well as taking up a fair amount of hard drive
space.
From the Internet Explorer's main menu,
select "View" and then "Options". This screen should appear.
Then, continue with the next section.
Then, click the "Settings"
button. The following screen should appear:

recommend that you adjust the disk space used to around 2%-3%. Then, click the "Empty
Folder" button.
Once the files have been deleted, click "OK"
twice to get back to the Internet Explorer.
Repeat this procedure every few months to clean up your
hard drive.
