I WILL REMEMBER

~Sue Hudgins~

Mr. Gary Sager Hudgins, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Riverside Health Care Center.
He had been in declining health for several years. Mr. Hudgins is the husband of Sue Hudgins.
The day after his death, Sue wrote this poem.

I will remember
The life we shared,
The many ways
You showed you cared.
I will remember
Your friendly smile.
You made all my days
Happy and worthwhile.
I will remember
Your tender heart.
You were full of love
From the very start.
I will remember
Your cheerfulness.
A positive outlook
You always possessed.
I will remember
Your integrity.
You did what was right,
All must agree.
I will remember
Your love for God.
He walked with you
Each step you trod.
Now I travel the road
Without you at my side.
But I will cherish the fact
That I was your bride.
My happy memories
Will help me get by
When I am tempted
To grieve and cry.
Someday I will join you
In heaven so fair.
Wait for me, Darling,
For I will be there.
