CRUNCHY COLESLAW
1 bag of coleslaw mix (be sure to rinse)
1 bunch green onions
2 packs of Beef flavored Ramen noodles
1 cup slivered almonds
1/3 cup of white vinegar
(I use apple cider vinegar)
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup of oil
You may add extra carrots,
red cabbage, or
other nuts as desired.
Noodle Mix
Remove the beef flavor packs from package.
Crunch up Ramen noodles. Roast almonds
and noodles at 250 degreesfor 15 minutes.
(these can scorch easily) Let cool.
Dressing
Dissolve vinegar and sugar on low heat,
Add oil and beef flavor packs. Mix well. Let
cool. Pour this into a bottle and shake well
before
pouring onto coleslaw. Pour this on as the
last thing you do so that it will remain crunchy.
Add noodle mix and dressing to coleslaw
and onions right before serving. Toss all
ingredients together. This makes a big bowl.
